It is created in Painter, working with custom textured background papers, and pastel and chalk tools. And a pen tool for the fine lines. I start with a blank white "canvas" and work as I would with natural media. Except it is all done with a Wacom tablet and a Mac, in Painter. Most of the work on this site was created in Painter. Though there are some "real world media" paintings and drawings in here too. In some cases I might start with a paper sketch and scan it into Painter.
