Richard, didn't have email of comments turned on for my foodblog, so didn't realize anyone had stopped by. Yes, the chicken waffles were good, and would be great with regular white flour too. A great cookbook is "Waffles From Morning To Midnight". I'm a big griller too. Lately I make homemade pizza on the grill. You can buy cheap big clay tiles from Home Depot. Oil them generously, they soak up a lot at first, then cook pizza and bread on the tiles. Someday I hope to do an illustration of how to bake on the grill.

I like this a lot. The contrast between the lights and darks are really working here to maximize the emotional impact.

Beautiful piece, has an almost antique feel about it with the rich colours and roughened effect.

Beautiful textures, I love the colours you've used too.

Thanks for stopping by my blog, I do use a photo as a reference for a rough outline or pose, but my work is always finished in my own style. Thanks for the interest!

I really like this one the best. The textures, the saturation and the heavy darker colors at the bottom really help to draw the eye upward to the beauty of the piece.

I really like this one Richard because there is more use of value and a sense of direction. You have a sense of ins and outs. I'm enjoying the whole picture... your texturizing technique is grand.
